First, let's start with the author. Kelley Armstrong; she's a New York Times #1 bestselling author who is also CANADIAN! Can I hear a fucking eh?! I think it is ridiculously awesome that an Ontario writer achieved that distinction. Even better, she's prolific so for those that love to gulp down series, check out her site, she's got plenty of books to choose from.
Next cool thing, is the TV show, Bitten(which plays on SyFY), is filmed in part and based in Toronto, Ontario. Can you get more Canadian than that? I love seeing Canadian locations in shows I watch. It makes me and hubby so excited to see landmarks and streets we recognize, lol. It adds that level of reality to the show.
Third neat fact, Elena, the main character, is a Canadian actress. Laura Vandervoort is a Toronto girl who first became popular from her role on Smallville.
I'd love it if one of my series got made into a television series, although, can you imagine if they chose my Pack books? I wonder if Canadian viewers are ready for my kind of werewolves. After all, Pack Law states females must mate with at least two. Hehehe. And for those who aren't familiar with my Pack series, what are you waiting for?! Book 4, New Pack Order is coming May 11th.
