Pick up some HOT Summer Reads! #romance #books @jsubject

It's a cool day here, but yesterday was an entire season warmer. Nothing like what the southern US gets, but I wished the entire day that we had a working air conditioner. (We are supposed to get a new one on Tuesday.)

Since we are approaching full-on summer, I wanted to share some upcoming events that I will be a part of where you can stock up on some amazing books and enter some great giveaways.

The first event is the Self-Publishing Roundtable Multi-Author Cross Promo Giveaway happening June 22-24. It includes FREE Romance ebooks and a Giveaway.

AND THAT'S NOT ALL!!

With July 1st being Canada Day, and the 5th year anniversary of my first published story, I'm participating in the Canada Day Blog Hop.

Plus, I'm participating in a couple of events with the Science Fiction Romance Brigade. July 11-15 is the SFR Brigade's Summer Blog Hop.

And July 18-22 is an SFR Brigade FREE and sale event.

If you want more information about these events, be sure to follow my blog and/or subscribe to my newsletter.

ALSO COMING SOON...

BRYCE: Galactic Defenders Book One

A dedicated Defender…

Bryce fell in love once, but after Lalia was ripped away from him, he locked his heart from feeling anything for anyone else. Instead, he devotes his life to the Galactic Alliance, killing every bloodthirsty Erebus he comes across.

A shunned princess…

Lalia Comosova fell in love with the wrong man. When her parents learned of her transgressions, they sent her to Earth to hide her error in judgment from the rest of the kingdom.

A second chance?

When these lovers are reunited after many years apart, they have a chance to find happiness together. But fate steps in and threatens to rip them apart as it did years ago.

Stay tuned!

Romancing the Capital ~ Romance is alive in Canada #RTC2016 #books @jsubject

Hello everyone! This past week I returned from Romancing the Capital, a reader/author conference held in Kanata, Ontario (near Ottawa), and hosted by the wonderful Eve Langlais. This was my second year in attendance, and just as much fun as the first.

\

During the conference, I hung out with many of my fellow authors from this blog, including Kacey Hammell, Kali Willows, Layna Pimentel, Deborah Cooke / Claire Delacroix, Kayleigh Malcolm, and Tricia Daniels.I also had the opportunity to chat with fellow sci-fi romance authors Susan Hayes and Donna McDonald, and was on the sci-fi romance panel with Susan, Eve Langlais, S.E. Smith, and Viola Grace. Kali and Kacey hosted another fabulous speed dating with authors event, after which I had a very sore throat. But, it was worth it to chat with so many readers. Kacey, Layna, and I also hosted a snack on the Friday afternoon and had the opportunity to meet even more readers. I was involved in and attended a few other events, which were so much fun, especially the 80s-inspired dinner after the book signing, where I braved getting up on the dance floor. I just couldn't sit still, especially when The Safety Dance started playing.

Overall, it was a fabulous event, and I look forward to attending again in the future. There were many authors and readers I wish I had the chance to chat with more, and I plan to seek them out at future events. Here are some pictures from Romancing the Capital...
